What Is It?

Non-Trucking Liability Insurance (NTLI) offers coverage for property damage or bodily injury that you can cause while the truck is not being used for business purposes.

Do I Need It? 

That depends.

Many truckers need this coverage because there will be times that the truck is driven for personal reasons. For example, when you are driving your truck to get washed between loads, or simply driving your truck to get dinner with your spouse, you are driving it for personal reasons. 

Another instance when you might need this coverage is when you need temporary insurance, such as when you buy a truck and need to drive it home before launching your business.
