It pays for injuries or property damage that you cause as a result of business activities NOT directly related to operating your truck.

 

General liability will cover your business in instances such as libel or slander exposure, actions of a driver while on loading docks, truck stops, etc.

 

 

Do I Need It?

 

It is only required by contract with a broker or a shipper. Overall, it is highly recommended to have this coverage at all times even if not required by contract.
